If the office, family, or company is navigating a change involving security, privacy, travel, reputation, a workplace concern, or vendor performance, begin with a short note. Additional details can follow.
What to include
Include who is requesting the conversation and in what role; whether the matter involves a principal, family office, founder, or counsel; one sentence describing the nature of the concern; and whether vendors or informal arrangements are already in place.
What happens next
EAG first sends a mutual nondisclosure agreement for signature before any substantive discussion. You then complete a one-page intake covering your role, any existing arrangement, and the general category of concern, not the incident itself.
If the matter is within scope and there are no conflicts, the next step is a 90-minute opening conference with the decision owner. The conference fee is $2,500 and is credited in full toward an engagement initiated within 30 days. After the conference, EAG provides a written note confirming whether EAG is the right counsel and, if so, recommending the appropriate engagement. If not, the note identifies the type of specialist or service needed. Either way, the client leaves with a clearer understanding of the situation and next steps, without being required to enter an engagement.
EAG does not accept requests for protective details, investigations, or guard services as assignments.
